Drive through racking dimensions. Ideal for faster moving product in most warehouse applications. Most high density drive in pallet racking systems are little more than conventional pallet racks adapted and reinforced to meet the stringent demands of drive in applications. Because a drive in racking system has only one entrance it uses what is called a lifo last in first out storage method. A drive in pallet racking system uses a single input output point per storage bay creating last in first out lifo access.

Selective rack requires an aisle for every row and has lower storage density than pushback or drive in racks. Drive in pallet racks and drive thru racks are rolled formed. It s the most common pallet storage racking type in the world. Drive in rack systems use a common entry and exit while drive thru systems have entry points at either end of the bay.

Drive in rack and drive thru rack systems are a cost effective solution to high density storage. This static system has rails running the depth of the rack for pallet placement. Also called drive through racks this style of pallet rack features the same design as drive in pallet rack but instead of being closed off at one end the rack system is open at both ends allowing forklifts to drive through it. Drive thru racking requires aisles on both sides of the rack system drive thru rack creates what we call an island of rack.

Drive thru racks allow the lift truck operator to drive into the rack system unencumbered by back bracing and exit from the other side of the rack system.
